  Weekly Fall Events

"The Door" Young Adult Worship - Mondays - Oak Hall - 9 p.m.

Starting August 18th, we will begin a new worship experience called "The Door".  This semester, Creighton will be preaching through 15 of the parables of Jesus.

Yellow Door Cafe - Tuesdays - Oak Hall - 5 to 7 p.m.

Tuesday night meals will take a break until August 19th so that we can regroup before the semester starts.  On that Tuesday, we will begin offering discipleship classes from 6 to 7 p.m. for those looking for something more.  If you would like to help with the meal, please let Tamara Vandergriff know.  Look for more information in the bulletin soon.

Prayer and Praise - Thursdays - Oak Hall - 9 p.m.

Each week, we will host an hour long time of prayer for our community, our schools, and our city.  Led by Creighton and Ryan, the time will be filled with movements of Scripture, focused prayer, and song.

Opportunities for Student Ministry: Places to Help a Little or a Lot

 • Serve on the Student Ministry Team to develop ministries.
 • Help with grant writing for student ministries./files/General/Students/Block Party.JPG
 • Help plan or host Yellow Door Café on Tuesday nights as we offer great food prepared by guest chefs.
 • Help find mission opportunities so we can reach out to the community.
 • Take a day off to listen and serve. Rather than simply expecting students to come to us, you can help us meet students where they live and work. Take one day from your usual routine to be present on campus -- handing out bottles of soda and water during orientation days, bringing in a team of people to help carry boxes during move-in day or providing free coffee in the evenings during finals week. Help us learn how to minister to students.
 • Be an official student greeter on Sundays. Extend our radical hospitality and information on our student ministries.
 • Commit to praying daily for each of our students by name and for our emerging student ministries.
