Central offers a wide variety of Christian education opportunities. In addition to Sunday school classes each
Sunday at 9:30 am, Bible study groups meet throughout the week. Central offers Sunday school classes for
all ages. Child care is also available every Sunday morning, from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Feel free to

  • Children's Classes
At Central, we want children to experience Christianity, not just learn about it. Our ministry explores
the wonders of our faith through storytelling, computers, science, cooking, art, music, and games!

The Faith Divers student education class meets Sunday mornings in Oak Hall. We use the
Faithlink curriculum from Cokesbury that dives into the intersection of our faith and current events,
social justice issues, politics, and much more.  Don't come expecting a lecture. Come to challenge
yourself. And us.

  • Adult Education

The Mather Class
9:30 a.m., in Wesley Hall
Members of the Mather class are primarily mature adults who have grown families, but offer something
of interest and inspiration to any age group.

The Pastor's Class

The Crusader's Class
9:30 a.m., in the Chapel
First organized in 1946 as a young couples class, members are now mostly seniors. The lessons
are based on the Methodist Quarterly. Teachers rotate on a monthly basis. Committees plan five
social events during the year, along with a coffee hour one Sunday each month, before and after class.

Special Sunday school classes and Bible study groups form throughout the year. Check back frequently
