Summer Theater Workhop 2008: Found
It's almost that time of year again!! Come join us evenings from July 20-24 for food, fun, and fellowship as our preschoolers through youth prepare an original musical, "FOUND!", based on Jesus' parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the forgiving father, from Luke 15. Adult helpers are needed. Dinner will be provided for all. Plan to be apart of this outreach to the community. We wouldn't want anyone to be LOST.

WELCOME!
Welcome to Central United Methodist Church, where everyone is central as we celebrate the unconditional love of God for all people.
Our Mission
Central United Methodist Church celebrates Christ's unconditional love that changes lives every day, as together we reach up to God, reach within ourselves, and reach out to the world.
Ministry Plan
Central has adopted an exciting new Ministry Plan setting out goals for our ministries, resources, and facilities as we share the unconditional love of Christ. Check back often for the exciting new fruits this Plan will bear for our Church and our community.
UPDATE - July 2008 - Click here for updates on new developments in the implementation of Central's Ministry Plan.
Announcements
Afraid of the “e-word”? Why is evangelism (sharing the Good News of God’s love) a bad word in the church? Have you ever wanted to know how to share your faith but didn’t know how? Want to deepen your own faith relationship with God?
This class is for you! Join us this summer, June through July in the Pastor’s Class, one of our 9:30 a.m. Sunday School classes for adults, led by Rev. Amy. We will meet in Oak Hall and be joined by our Student Ministry class. Books will be available on Sunday, June 1.
Central is pleased to announce two new staff members. We will be asking the Bishop to appoint the Rev. Creighton Alexander to a full time appointment as the Pastor of Student Life Ministries. Also, Donna Kinder has accepted the position of Director of the Early Childhood Center. For more information on both Rev. Alexander and Ms. Kinder, see Rev. Amy's letter to the congregation. We welcome them to the Central staff.
